Ballast supply and delivery in Mombasa
Ballast is crushed stone, the coarse aggregate that gives concrete its strength. OmegaFleet loads it at the quarry nearest your site, weighs every load, and delivers it with a tipper that is already in your area.
What it is used for
- Concrete for foundations, columns, beams and slabs
- Driveways, parking and paving bases
- Drainage and soakaway fill
- Precast blocks, kerbs and culverts
Sizes
Ballast is graded by stone size. 3/4 inch (about 20 mm) is the common choice for structural concrete; 1/2 inch suits thinner slabs and precast work. Tell us what your engineer or fundi specified and we quote that grade.
How much to order
Order by the tonne. Your quantity surveyor's bill of quantities gives the figure; if you only know the concrete volume, tell us and we will help you estimate.

Questions
How do I order?
Send a request on this page or on WhatsApp with what you need, how much and where. Our team calls you back with a written quote. Once you accept and pay, we book a truck near your site and send you a delivery code by SMS.
How do I know I received the full amount?
Every load is weighed at the quarry weighbridge and the ticket number is attached to your order, so you can see the weight you paid for. You give the driver your delivery code only when the material has arrived.
Can you deliver ballast and sand together?
Yes. Put both on one request and the quote lists each line, with transport, so you pay one invoice.
